Mommy & Me

This Mommy & Me mini session was so much fun to photograph. Meet Eliza and her daughter Olivia.  Eliza responded to my back-to-school mini session but wanted something slightly different. She had a special portrait of her and her mother and she wanted to do something similar with her and Olivia. It was very hot the morning of their session but that did not stop Olivia from doing what two-year-olds do best, run around and enjoy life! Mom and daughter did great during their session and I was able to capture their special moments.

As a mom, we are so busy taking care of our families that we forget to get in front of the camera! We tend to list a dozen reasons why we cannot get our picture made and inevitably put it off for "later." Ladies stop making excuses! I blinked and my baby girl just left for college; I'm very fortunate that I started a family tradition of yearly family portraits as well as birthday and holiday sessions. Our home is covered with the memories our children made growing up and there is a different piece of family wall art that will brighten my day, every day. Your children will cherish these photos when they are older. They won't care that the outfit is not new, or if your roots have not been touched up. They will love seeing a picture of them with their mom. Take a break momma's, and enjoy the time with your little ones.
