Take a Chance
I love sharing my client’s stories through portraits and interviews. The participants in the 40 over 40 project have such great wisdom and life experiences to share. My hope is to empower the women taking part and inspire those reading these stories.
Here are a few snippets from Trudy’s interview.
What made you get pictures done?
I just did it to see what would happen
How do you think the definition of beauty has changed over the years?
Well you don’t have to be super skinny anymore. It’s not all about how you are on the outside, I don’t think anymore, I think a lot of it has to do with the inside because it’ll show on the outside
What would you tell your 20 year old self?
Don’t be so hung up on being so thin, just be you
When do you feel you were the most confident in life?
When I’m showing my dog or training him, that’s when I’m most confident
How do you think the younger generation perceives your generation?
I think my generation is great, actually the gym I go to the average age of most people is like 24, and they will occasionally listen to me, which is quiet surprising actually
How would the people around you describe you?
Unapologetic and unafraid
If you had one thing on your bucket list that you want to do what would it be?
Box seats at the Kentucky Derby
What motivated you to take on working out every day?
It was a dare, once I got started it became a habit and I really like doing it, I like the way I look and since I work for a bunch of lawyers it’s a little intimidating to them so its ok its working out good for me.
What is your favorite quote or scripture?
Take a chance, you only live once
